Have you looked at SkaleLinux.cfg ?
At the "mode" line, anything but '0' seems to produce that error. And if you've chosen the wrong "NUM_DEVICE" that error would occur as well if I rememer correctly. _________________ Aching heads with that funky hardcore beat.

do you have SDL installed? And with support for the sound daemon you use?
For example... if you use Arts, do you have the SDL pack with Arts support installed?

Not sure what would happen the other way around though (SDL with aRts support, but no aRts)..... Still you could try if it works when you kill aRts: That's how I found out my SDL didn't have support for it . _________________ Aching heads with that funky hardcore beat.
