I just wanted to let people know that XMPlay (http://www.un4seen.com/) also seems to support the Winamp Plugin for skale. Just copy the plugin into the root directory for XMplay and it acknowledges support for the playback of skm files.

XMPlay is an audio player, supporting the OGG / MP3 / MP2 / MP1 / WMA / WAV / CDA / MO3 / IT / XM / S3M / MTM / MOD / UMX audio formats, and PLS / M3U / ASX / WAX playlists. A load more formats are also supported via plugins. When XMPlay was first released in 1998, only the XM format was supported, hence the name "XMPlay".

Heres a screen capture so you can all see this works: http://malkaviabbs.com/xmplay_skm.png

I thought you just might like to know that there are other players the plugin supports and which players those are

If I happen to come accross any other players that the plugin works with, i'll let you know.

I've also rescently been messing around further and have gotten XMplay to support MORE audio formats than Winamp does -- topping out at a grand total of 1.45MB (RAR'd) versus Winamp's grand total of 5MB (RAR'd).

XMplay seriously needs video support tho. I'm sure they'd be able to pull that off just as efficiently as they have with audio. They can become the next Winamp if they REALLY want to.

Winamp does rush jobs and crams everything in it and it's bloated and takes alot of resources. XMPlay is alot more efficient. Surely XMplay could "really whip the llama's ass"
