Hi guys!

I'm a newbie in the tracker-scene but im trying hard.
Could anyone give me a hint, why i can't add a cutoff to a drum? And how can I add a cutoff to the complete track?

Thanks so far.

I assume you want to cut the tail off a sample while its playing. You can add a "note off" sign to the pattern by pressing capslock.

yeah Sportfreund, i meant this filter but this one seems to have no affect on percussion instruments. I dont know why cause for are the percussion intruments the same as the i.e. synthies.
I dont know why the cutoff doesnt works ....

amokschaf

sollte sich dein cutoff problem noch nicht geklaert haben, kann ich dir helfen. schick mir mal dein "skm-song" und ich mach dir den cut off rein , dass du sehen kannst wie es gemacht wird.

bye

Skale can not differ percusive and synthesis instruments, so if you have trouble getting the filter working on certain instruments I think you are doing something wrong while configuring/using the filter.
Have you remembered to enable the filter? Have you assigned the right effect number and using the assigned number while editing your patterns?

PS. My filter tutorial is over 4 years old, so there might have been additions/changes which I am not aware of since Im no longer a Skale user.
