Hey people,
which formats would you like to be supported in Skale Tracker?
Besides the "as many as possible"-answer, please give some arguments.
i guess, SKM, MOD, S3M and IT would be nice.
Are other song/sample formats needed? And are there docs available for those other formats to make a correct conversion/import??

It would be fine, if there is an export/import for:
1. the actual selected pattern and track (This possibilty we have with FT][).
with both formats you can create default settings for an instrument or instruments, like pattern effects, note or loudness, which you set with the track editor.
2. mid (midi) would be very great. So I can track my song in Skale and follow up in Nuendo or something like this.
3. SF2 and AKP, cause they represent an instrument. Thus u can use your instruments, you build with another programs or you have on your sample disk. _________________ http://www.vereiser.de

You could to make import option for DBM file format (Digi Booster Pro). We can load this to Modplug, but even modplug can't handle if some "DSP" echo effects was used. I know, there are not any 'native' effects inside Skale, but maybe you can find any way to import all data including delay time and dry/wet parameters and push it into particular presets for vst fx'es or whatever else... (just free thinking).
I talked with DigiBooster pro programmers some time and they said that nobody did full support for there on Windows, so you can be first
ps: "IFF" was 'FT format'? )) No way... _________________ grogon

I just meant that was an Amiga file format . I don't have anything against Scale support for this.
