A ski-file is a collection of samples grouped as an instrument.
But it includes more information than the keyboard assigning and the samples.
Skale saves ski with the settings of the mixer, instrument, sample and filter section.

So, you have the possibility to make an duplication of an instrument in your song.

It was a suggestion before I think. Or was it implemented before in other versions.

Think I have to test it.

Ski's have been there since the first release, if I'm not mistaken. It's just Skale's version of FT2's XI format, which doesn't support Skale features like: filter settings, multiple envelopes and such.
