Hey, I'm looking for a piano instrument or some sample files I can use.
Anyone? |

I have a überpiano I've sampled myself using Propellerheads Reason 2.5
But the enitre thing is 46 MB and contains 6 fullpacked multisample-instruments to fit all the samples. All samples are 16 bit 44,100 hz stereo.
1 octave per instrument, so you can fully remove octaves you're not using to save space.
But I believe this is the most high quality piano you can get for a tracker
Let me know if you are interessed. |

Any chance to merge it into one instrument? I was trying to do it myself but it crashes every time i try to cut a sample. Or is there another way to move a sample from one instrument to another? Maybe I could do a little coding to handle this but I'd need some information about .ski files. |

No sorry, one instrument can only hold 16 samples and there's 12 samples per octave. However you can pick out 16 samples and map one sample over many keys - however it won't sound as natural as one sample per key due to the pitch.
I think you can just pick out your 16 key-samples and save them and then rebuild the SKI with just 16 samples and map them manually without Skale crashing (hopefully for you convinience )
Good luck! |
