I think that a new version will come out soon.

I ditched renoise, I don't like it. I'm an old school practical tracker. I don't want vsts and shit like that. I think Skale is the best tracker out there, it's like 70% complete, just a few bugs and improvements. Honestly I think the whole VST thing can be skipped, I want better support in terms of productivity.

Clone Pattern,
Minor wav editing in the sample window (Normalize, or Volume increase),
Easy drum map,
An instrument format that I can save and use in another skale file (ski doesn't import correctly!)

hi oxygenfad,

did you try Milkytracker, it's a free (now opensource) tracker almost 100% compatible with XM format. It doesn't support VST plugins, which however are supported by Skale also, so it may be of your interest..

Exactly! Kick the VST crap out, kill the bugs put some improvements in and voila!!!
