Hi there.

Well, I made a quite long sample (21 sec. of electroc guitar loop).
Wanted to use SampleOffset to play with it from the middle, for example.

And I found - it doesn't work. it can't even get close to the middle, while playin'.

Is the sample too long? (Would be strange in modern trackers for PC).

Greetz,
Y

Yes the sample is to long, since you can only go to #ff, and skale doesn' t change it's scale with longer instruments, when i started with soundtracker (from karsten obarski) the first tracker around, samples were not so big so it could easily reach the end of the instrument, ...
But if this would be scaled with bigger samples then the steps would be less accurate anyway perhaps this problem could be taken in consideration in future releases.

Greets, Synth.

Hmmm... I cut the samples into half and... still the same.

Now I know what to do. I will simply change tracker. Into the Akord first. Then we will see. Thank You.
