Has anyone managed to get Skale working in Cubase SX2.2 yet? That's SX2.2, not SX, 5.0 or sx2.0. And yes, I have followed the instructions to the letter.

It works like a charm in 5.0vst32 but I just doesn't show up at all in SX2.2. I had a cunning thought which was to load it as a VSTi into Fruity Loops which I can control via ReWire. However, I can't get it working in Fruity either; i get the ubiquitous "Can't read Skale.dat" error.

Has anyone ever successfully got it working in Fruity Loops?

On that note, can anyone recommend any reliable ReWire-compatible software that Skale will work in; I'd like to see if my backwards plan to chain Skale indirectly to SX2.2 will work.

I've tried it with FL - doesn't work.
I've also tried start it through Wine under Linux (vst effects) - same thing, but I finaly managed to do it. By the way Skale freezes after exit - this may be Wine bug.
I think the problem is with current working directory (the plugin doesn't know where the Skale.dat is)

The problem is not only with skale.dat, but also with config files and skin.

I copy all these files to FL main directory and it is working now.

Here is what to copy.

folder SKINS
Skale.cfg
Keyb.cfg
Skale.dat

It works for FL6
