Hello, I am having a problem with the Linux version of Skale Tracker. It is constantly eating up 100% of my CPU... this is making my CPU hot and the fan very noisy. Is this something that can be fixed?

With new version of Skale 0.81 the problem is solved in Windows. But I don't know if it is in LINUX.

It is not solved yet.

There are some people that don't have this problem, but normally most ppl will still have this problem. There is a way to take it down a bit, though, i can get it in Gentoo Linux down to 50-60%.

You can set the waittime with the config utility under Windows (note: manually edit the config file for Linux). This will take down the FPS, but i guess it depends on system setup how much you will win.

next versions won't have to use this 'trick' anymore of course and cpu usage should be 'normal'.
