Here we will keep a list of links to sites with programs/tools to help you while creating music.

This list is a compilation of sites that were posted on this forum in the past and sites that I found elsewhere. Feel free to post suggestions or report dead links in this thread, but please discuss the links in a seperate topic, to keep this a bit clean.

A nice little program to help you set loop points on a sample.

- Scale Helper
A program which displays the tone scale of a selected mode and key.

Download free VST effects/instruments and loads of other stuff. There's also forums etc...

- N-Track studio
Very helpful people on forums here, i.e. for asking recording or mastering related questions. Also the home of a very good (and affordable) multitrack program.

- Synthfont
With this program, you can compose, render to wav, or play your midi-files with your favourite soundfont.

- Midi- OX
The most excellent, mappable virtual midi cable. With this, you can transfer midi from one program to another (yes, it is true with Skale also ).
